Leaked images of Tottenham Hotspur’s home and away kit for the forthcoming 2012/2013 season have appeared at a club fansite. Thanks to Spursfan1982 for sending them over to us.
The brand new all white home kit, which goes against the Spurs tradition of navy blue shorts, gives the club a “Real Madrid” feel and are being modeled by Michael Dawson, Scott Parker and Kyle Walker. The kits have been produced by Under Amour and are yet to be officially unveiled by the club (though we would expect an official reveal is likely to have been brought forward now).
The all dark navy blue away kit features Gareth Bale (who recently signed a long term contract at the club), Rafael Van Der Vaart and Michael Dawson once again!
Perhaps tellingly (though do promotional images really mean anything?), the shirt campaign perhaps suggest Van Der Vaart is going to be staying at White Hart Lane despite constant talk that he was angling for a move back to German side Hamburg and that star midfielder Luka Modric, who is being heavily courted by Real Madrid, is likely to leave this summer.
Tottenham’s “third kit” will be revealed in August but the official unveiling of these home and away shirts will likely come much sooner.
