UFC on Fox 5 Podcast Review

UFC on Fox 5 in Seattle, Washington proved that it was indeed worth the hype. As clearly the best card from top to bottom in 2012, it had spectacular finishes and dominant performances. On episode #8 of the Getting Lucky MMA podcast, I am joined by "English" Thom Burton to cover all of the action. The Getting Lucky podcast is on iTunes, search for us in the iTunes store and subscribe. If you hate Apple and Steve Jobs, you can find alternate means of subscribing to the pod here, as well as direct web streaming of the mp3. I wrote about this on WhatCulture last week here. Also, we talk about Ronda Rousey being anointed as the first female champion in the UFC without ever having fought in the promotion. As the Strikeforce 135 champ, Dana awarded her with the belt. Is this fair? Should she have fought for it? After we cover all of the fights, how each was decided, and make match-up predictions for both fighters in the bout. And we talk about a lot things along the way, including the entertainment value of the Bantamweights and Flyweights, just how crazy is Rory MacDonald, and how the Benson Henderson Lightweight championship fight against Nate Diaz is an indication of what is to come in the Welterweight title picture. Join us, won't you?
