UFC To Pay For Funeral Of Fighter Bobby Green's Murdered Brother

The UFC is to pay for funeral costs of brother who was gunned down in cold blood, Bobby Green confirms. Bobby Green, a talented lightweight fighter who is undefeated in the UFC since arriving in the organization after their takeover of rival promotion Strikeforce, suffered immense personal tragedy earlier this month as his younger brother was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in San Bernardino. Mitchell Wayne Davis Jr. (Green€™s younger brother) was with three family members working on a car when a black Honda rolled past and opened fire, according to a report by the San Bernadino Sun that Green posted on his Twitter account along with the comment €œthey killed Mitch.€ The other three family members are expected to survive, but there have yet to be any arrests in the case, and a motive is not known. On Saturday, Green confirmed the UFC would be covering funeral expenses, posting to Twitter €œThank u god the @ufc has decided to pay for my brothers funeral what a blessing this is definitely my biggest moment of my career #ufcthanku€ Our condolences to Green and Mitch€™s family.
