West Brom To Loan Arsenal's Mathieu Debuchy?

Gunners' second choice right-back seeking move to play regular football ahead of Euro 2016.

West Bromwich Albion have enquired over the possibility of taking Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy on loan to the Hawthorns in the January transfer window. The Daily Mail (via Tribal Football) reports that Debuchy is eager to leave the Emirates Stadium in next month's transfer window to give him a chance of gaining a place in France's Euro 2016 Championships squad. Having endured a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Debuchy lost his place in Arsenal's first-team to impressive young Spaniard Hector Bellerin and has found his pitch time severely limited this season. A move away looks to be his only option to make his way into France boss Didier Deschamps' plans.
The Daily Mail reports that Debuchy is desperate to play for his country who are playing hosts to next year's finales in the summer. Debuchy has only played twice in the Premier League for Arsenal this season, only 14 overall since his move before the start of the last Premier League season. Whilst at his former club Newcastle United he was a first team regular, appearing 43 times in a 12 month spell.
