Team News

West Brom will be without Youssouf Mulumbu, who will serve the first of his three-match bans against visitors Arsenal following his dismissal against West Ham last week. However, the Baggies are boosted by the return of James Morrison, who returns from a hamstring injury. Arsenal look like they will have to wait a little longer for the return of Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere. The duo are back in training but have only "an outside chance" of featuring, according to assistant boss Steve Bould.

Match Preview

Arsenal have fond memories of the Hawthorns. They clinched Champions League qualification on this ground on the final day of last season and will be hoping for a similar success this weekend as they continue their push for a top four spot. Arsene Wenger's men are fifth at present and will be without a number of key players through injury, such as Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere. The Gunners will be buoyed however by the fact they have now won five of their last six Premier League matches and taken 19 points from the last 24, a total only bettered by leaders Manchester United in the same period. As for hosts West Brom, their ascent up the table has been halted by just the one league win in their four previous games, though the Baggies can be content with a top 10 finish, which is a testament to all the hard work Steve Clarke and his backroom staff have invested this season. Clarke's first season in management has been highly impressive and to underline just how good a job he has done, if they were to defeat Arsenal, the Baggies would move onto 47 points - the same total with which Albion have ended their previous two league campaigns - and there'd still be fifteen points to play for afterwards.
