West Ham Transfers: All Deals Now Off

Remember when he said "don't go to bed?"

Despite the fact that David Gold told everyone not to go to bed, he's left a lot of West Ham fans disappointed by failing to do any of the promised business the club were looking to complete before the deadline. Late deals for Emmanuel Adebayor and Genk defender Kara Mbodji have both failed to materialise, and the chance of sending Matt Jarvis out on loan to QPR even fell apart when it turned out the swap deal to return Mauro Zarate on loan in exchange would have broken Premier League rules concerning loans. Jake Sullivan - West Ham's self-appointed mouth piece on transfer deadline day - has confirmed that everything has fallen to pieces in the last two hours even though the club were working hard to bring some new players in: https://twitter.com/jsullivanwhu/status/562378111862734848 Eight deals is a lot, especially if it doesn't include Carlton Cole's impending move to West Brom (unless that's one of the cancelled ones), and the fact that they couldn't do any of that business is testament to how difficult it is make any signings in this window, even when you try. Which collapsed deals are you most frustrated about concerning West Ham? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread.
