iPhone 5: 8 Features We Want To See

We already know that Maps is being overhauled and the phone will feature the new iOS6, but what else do we want to see?

Apple made the exciting announcement recently that they plan to unveil the €˜iPad Mini€™ (or €˜slightly larger iPod Touch€™ as I€™m going to call it) and the hotly anticipated iPhone 5 (or probably known pretentiously as €˜The New iPhone€™) this coming September. Rumour has it that both devices will be unveiled at a typically huge shindig on September 12 and will go on sale nine days later on September 21. We all know Apple are annoyingly tight-lipped when it comes to their new toys, resulting in the internet becoming awash with rumours, stories, hopes and very nerdy arguments. And, well, I€™m going to contribute to the madness with my own list of the eight most wanted new features on Apple€™s flagship product. We already know that Maps is being overhauled and the phone will feature the new iOS6, but what else do we want to see?

8. Bigger Screen

If Apple want to keep up with the superb Samsung Galaxy SIII and the HTC One X, they€™re going to have to break the habit of a lifetime and increase the size of their screen. Since its birth, the iPhone has always had 3.5inch screen. But five years down the line, it€™s beginning to look a little dated, and with Samsung and HTC boast 4.8in and 4.7in screen respectively, the iPhone is being left for dust. It€™s been rumoured the new phone will boast a 4inch screen, but if they really want blow the competition out of the water, Apple€™s best option is to go for an sexy-looking edge-to-edge screen.
