Identity of Deceased: Yvonne 'Vee' Parker, a convicted drug trafficker and return inmate at Litchfield Penitentiary who takes over running the commissary. Portrayed by Lorraine Toussaint.

Time of Death: 'We Have Manners. We're Polite' - Season 2, Episode 13 (premiered 6th June 2014).

Cause of Death: Whilst escaping Litchfield, she is deliberately run over by fellow inmate Rosa (Barbara Rosenblat) who is escaping at the same time in a stolen van.

Why It Was So Satisfying: Arriving in the second season of the prison drama, Vee made her presence felt far and wide. Master of manipulation, she promoted divides, turning inmates against one another and sneaking her way into a position of power, leading to a violent confrontation with old rival Red (Kate Mulgrew).

While she ultimately loses the trust of her new cronies, it briefly looks like she's going to get off scot-free when she breaks out via a sewage pipe - but instead we get a double-happy ending, as the cancer-stricken Rosa escapes and mows Vee down at the same time.
