When you've been on the air for over twenty years, not every episode is going to be a winner. While Comic Book Guy wannabes insist that the show has done something similar to leaping a large fish (that particular phrase is one of the most over-used and useless banalities in all of pop culture), the fact is that The Simpsons remains more watchable than 99% of what is written, churned out, and spammed onto our TV sets. Despite that, they have, admittedly, dropped the ball more than a few times. Hell, there are some times where they outright blew it. Earlier this month we took a look at Family Guy and ten times the show blew it. Well, fair is fair, and it's time to take a look at ten times its older brother in the Animation Domination line-up dropped the ball as well. Since we already included The Simpsons Guy (face it, there was no way it would ever live up to our expectations) under Family Guy, we won't be including it here, otherwise it would probably knock one of these entries off the list. Even without that, there's plenty left. Apu's wedding? Selma adopting? The Simpsons going to Delaware? Without further ado - here are ten times The Simpsons blew it.
