In 1989, comedian Jerry Seinfeld performed a grand experiment for NBC: a show about... nothing. Nine years and around 200 episodes later, though, that show about nothing turned out to be a whole lot of something when the iconic Seinfeld became the standard by which sitcoms are set today.
