20 Greatest Ever Superhero TV Shows

7. Wonder Woman

Once upon a time, female superheros were exclusively used as a sidekick to their more successful male counterparts. You've got Superman, so you get Supergirl too. There's Batman, so there's also Batgirl. While they're strong figures in their own right, they don't have a distinct identity. That's why Wonder Woman is so revolutionary. She's a female superhero who isn't reliant on a male franchise -- she has her own canon, her own unique set of powers, and her own mythology. Lynda Carter owned the role, and it's a testament to her ability that the many proposed reboots have failed, unable to stand up to the quality of the original.
