14. Alma And Kit Walker Are Based On A Real Couple
Alma and Kit Walkers experience with aliens wasnt just made up; it was based on a real life experience. The couple were based around real life pair Barney and Betty Hill. The pair were allegedly abducted by extraterrestials in a rural portion of New Hampshire on September 19-20, 1961. The incident is referred to as the Hill Abduction and has been adapted in to all sorts of different mediums, including books, and the TV movie The UFO Incident. Luckily for the real life pair they were returned safely and unharmed with very little repercussions, unlike poor Kit who ended up in Briarcliff as the supposed murderer Bloody Face because of Alma's abduction.
