5 Reasons Breaking Bad Will Be Sorely Missed On TV

BB-tease-21 I'm not sure my thoughts on the looming end of this series will be able to do justice to how many people, including myself, are going to sorely miss this program once it's off the airwaves after this season. The first of the final eight episodes airs Sunday night on AMC, and for the better part of five seasons the main characters of Walter White, played so effortlessly by Emmy award winner Bryan Cranston, and his side-kick Jessie Pinkman, also played brilliantly by Emmy award winner Aaron Paul, have allowed audiences to escape in ways TV hasn't seen the likes of before. Let's face it, when have you ever been able to watch a show about characters that are truly breaking bad, and yet still feel as if you can actively root for some of the personalities inside this world of meth, murders, and some truly deceitful acts from all involved? The fact I can throw this show on and feel some form of calm and peacefulness from episode to episode says a great deal at how multi-layered this series really is. Overall, it's a testament to the show's creator, Vince Gilligan, for being the brain trust behind such a program that fans, old and new, will undoubtedly revisit one of the greatest TV shows that has ever aired, again and again once all is said and done after the show's final episode in a few months. Now it's time to take a look at five reasons I feel represent some of the most important facets behind why this series will be missed, beyond the realm of thought, after its final fade to black.
