8 Reasons Now Is The Perfect Time To Revive Twin Peaks

The '25 Years Later' in Cooper's dream is almost up.

For a show that hasn't been on the air for more than 20 years, there is still a massive amount of interest in cult TV series Twin Peaks. A show that brought the supernatural to mainstream audiences and reinvigorated its genre; Twin Peaks is a show that has many fans still asking for more and that is why now is absolutely the perfect time to resurrect it on our screens. There are many reasons why it's still popular today. DVD sales remain strong and it's one of the more popular shows on online streaming services such as Netflix. Given its iconic characters, memorable scenes and shock twists, it's not hard to understand why we continue to hear countless rumours of its resurrection. It's that possibility of a revival that keeps the fan base strong. The cast are still willing to talk about Twin Peaks and shows still play homage to it. Twin Peaks is one of those very few shows that has managed to continuously reignite interest despite being broadcast a generation ago. Not only that, the show has many unanswered questions still to give us and possibilities for numerous stories that could be told long after the mystery of who killed Laura Palmer. With that in mind, here are 8 reasons why now is the perfect time to bring the show back.
