The Doctor has joined forces with an array of heroes throughout his previous festive escapades but in this year's seasonal special, Last Christmas, he'll come face to face with the greatest one of them all... Santa Claus himself. Before Old Saint Nick - literally too, since he's played by Nick Frost! - sets his sights on "one of the Time Lord's most incredible adventures yet" (the BBC's words, not ours!), though, Wnovians across the land will be hoping he pays them a visit on Christmas Eve to deliver a host of Doctor Who goodies and timey-wimey treats. And let's face it, they don't exactly have a limited amount of them to choose from! As one of television's most successful and sought after franchises, it's not surprising that Doctor Who has spawned one of the biggest ranges of merchandise from here to Trenzalore. From action figures to underpants (seriously), it's no exaggeration to say that if you name it, Doctor Who has probably put its logo on it. That's both a blessing and a curse, of course - a blessing because it means fans are never stuck for choice when it comes to investing in the latest merchandise but a curse when they ultimately end up spending their entire life's savings on completing their prized collections. Another blessing is that the plethora of produce means it's also incredibly easy to buy for a Doctor Who fan but it can sometimes be a slightly overwhelming task to have to scour through the masses of memorabilia in order to find the perfect present.
