9 Reasons Why Arya Stark Has The Most Frustrating Storyline In Game Of Thrones

Stick 'em with the pointless end.

The Arya Stark hype wagon is rattling along at a breathless pace, but guess what? It's completely unjustified.

Let's get one thing straight, Maisie Williams is a fantastic young actress with a massive future ahead of her and early Arya storylines were genuinely entertaining but her character is fading.

It's truly a shame to say it but Arya has stagnated in Braavos to the point where her sections in the show simply aren't enjoyable. If you're still riding the bandwagon good luck to you, but is there really enough time for Arya to pull things around?

Here's every reason for why Arya is the most over-hyped character in the show, and why that also makes her the most frustrating aspect of Game Of Thrones.

9. Poor Supporting Characters

Arya COULD be a brilliant character. It's true. Her personality, rogue-ish behaviour and unconventional mannerisms are refreshing but since Braavos became her backdrop, everyone around her has been a disappointment.

Jaqen H'ghar was a cool, composed man when we first met him. He was a mysterious figure and strangely felt like he had a streak of dark humour in him. His smirking, lethal nature led us to believe he was going to be a fantastic character, but he isn't.

Instead, he's been cold, detached, rarely leaving his temple rooms, and squandered his potential on washing corpses. As for the Waif, she simply didn't feel like a genuine threat to Arya's life, no matter how intense she appeared to be.

Barring a couple of one-off appearances and the theatre group from Season 6, we don't know anything about the great personalities surely contained within Braavos despite being there so long.
