2. There's Less Comedy, More Drama

The most obvious difference from the show's first season - apart from its new setting - is the shift in tone.

Though American Vandal can still be called a comedy, the broader humour of season one has mostly been ditched in favour of a more serious and dramatic story.

While there are laughs to be had, it's actually pretty surprising how long can pass between jokes in season two, and as fantastic as the drama is, you might find yourself wishing for things to be a little funnier every so often.

It's a creative decision that's likely to divide fans to begin with, though by the end of the season, you'll likely be so captivated regardless that you won't much care.
