Arrow Season 4: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

Looking back at some of the massive shockers from Season 4 so far.

Arrow's fourth season debuted in the second half of 2015 and left fans eagerly awaiting more as the show took off for its mid-season break. Fear not, though, for the show is set to return to screens imminently. Despite being promised a lighter, happier tone for Arrow, supposedly much more like the feel of The Flash, the Emerald Archer-centric series has continued to skulk in the shadows for the most part, even though the season opened with a happy-go-lucky Oliver Queen shacked up with Felicity Smoak as they spent their days jogging and perfecting omelettes. In amongst the first half of the season, we saw Oliver mourning at a mystery gravesite, there was the engagement of Ollie and Felicity, we saw appearances from Hawkgirl, Hawkman and Vandal Savage, characters returned from the dead, Thea Queen is massively unhinged, and there was a whole host of other traumas for the Master Bowman and his supporting cast of characters. So with anticipation high ahead of Season 4's return, it's time to take a look back and and refresh on the moments that have made us yell with excitement and gasp in sheer horror.

20. Oliver Queen, Shark Wrangler

It was a moment that lasted merely a few seconds, but it was a huge shocker to see Oliver Queen chased by a giant shark as he swam back to the shore of Lian Yu after a deep sea dive to the sunken Amazo during the Dark Waters episode. Sadly, we never actually got to see Ollie tackle the shark directly, but we saw one of the world€™s greatest predators creeping up on the underwater Queen before we then saw him back on land after what seemed to be a bit of a tussle. Oliver Queen is a man of many talents, and it seems that shark wrestling is just one of the Emerald Archer's many skills.
