Black Mirror Season 3 Is Coming To Netflix Earlier Than Expected
The new episodes will premiere in October.
Black Mirror is one of the best British TV shows of recent years, so it was great news when Netflix announced they'd picked the series up for an extended run of episodes.
However, while they announced that they'd ordered 12 more instalments of Charlie Brooker's dark, imaginative, and sometimes a little-too-real tales, there was no air date, and it was anticipated that the new episodes wouldn't arrive until 2017.
Now, though, Netflix have revealed that we're getting Season 3 a lot sooner than expected: October 21, to be precise.
Season 3 of Black Mirror will comprise of six episodes (for which they've revealed the titles), an increase from the usual three, and feature an all-star cast and crew, including:
San Junipero: featuring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis, and directed by Owen Harris.
Shut Up and Dance: featuring Jerome Flynn and Alex Lawther, directed by James Watkins.
Nosedive: featuring Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve and James Norton, directed by Joe Wright.
Men Against Fire: featuring Michael Kelly, Malachi Kirby and Madeline Brewer, directed by Jakob Verbruggen.
Hated in the Nation: featuring Kelly MacDonald, directed by James Hawes.
Playtest: featuring Wyatt Russell and Hannah John-Kamen, directed by Dan Trachtenberg.
Add Brooker into the mix as well, and there's a whole load of talent there, and the fact that it's coming in October just makes it even more exciting.
