Marvel's Daredevil Trailer - Watch It Here

"I've been pre-occupied of late with questions of morality".

"I've been pre-occupied of late with questions of morality," says Matt Murdock, a man who may be advertised to us as coming without fear but seems to be quite a tortured soul nonetheless. This first trailer for Daredevil is selling one of the most brooding, character-driven Marvel creations yet. I like it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VK1mrTQd8D0 I wouldn't be surprised if most of that footage, and definitely dialogue, comes from the first episode. That's the one that was written by Drew Goddard before he went to work on SInister Six and... ouch. I bet he's been a bit pre-occupied of late too. There was also a hint in that trailer of how Daredevil will 'see' the world, and it's not only a cheaper solution to the one in Ben Affleck movie, it's more elegant too. In fact, that comparison seems to apply across the board, from Charlie Cox to the camerawork. All in all, I was really taken with this trailer, and much more than I expected to be. April 10th can't get here soon enough. That's looking like the day I'll start off singing the praises of Netflix's binge-watching options, then end up boo-hooing because I've got no self control and I watched the whole run in one sitting and have to wait lord knows how long for AKA Jessica Jones to come and fill the gap.
