Every Breaking Bad Easter Egg In The Walking Dead

6. The Car

The Walking Dead Breaking Bad Car
AMC

The one it all started with. In Guts, the second episode of The Walking Dead's first season, Rick and Glenn are surrounded by walkers while in Atlanta, and need to find a way of getting out of their alive. To make a distraction, they set off a car alarm on a Dodge Challenger, which Glenn is then driving later in the episode to make his getaway.

It's a great moment in and of itself, but it also loops back to Breaking Bad courtesy of the make and model of car. When Walter White was reaching his peak as a drug lord, he buys a car for his son, Walt Jr. Not just any car, but a red Dodge Challenger that looks a lot like this one.

It's more likely to do with them both being produced by AMC rather than actually being the same car - although Walt Jr did take his back to a guy named Glenn - but it's still another fun link between the two, and the first sign of things to come.
