Here we are, a quarter of a century after the Friends pilot being released, and it is still so beloved, relatable, and as popular and relevant as ever, which is part of the reason that the series has a claim to being the greatest sitcom ever made.
The key ingredient that can't be praised enough is the excellent characters who without, the series wouldn't have had a chance. The main characters are all equally engaging, interesting and entertaining for completely different reasons, maintaining their own personality and at no point ever feeling like they are just there to take up a space.
