Game Of Thrones Power Rankings: Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken

4. Cersei Lannister

The King€™s mother may well come to regret all of her plotting against Loras and, more pertinently, her real target Margaery Tyrell. For starters, it€™s putting her son - as mentioned, the freakin€™ King of Westeros - in a position where he may ultimately have to choose between his mother and his new wife. If Tommen can bring himself to make the choice - which based on this week seems unlikely, but hey maybe Ser Pounce can help - then Cersei may not like the result. There's also the little matter of the Tyrell money keeping her in wine at the moment. Also, for all the High Sparrow is doing what she wants right now, it may not be long before he turns his eyes her way, and she may not fare too well under their glare. For now, though, everything has fallen into place: Margaery has been arrested, the reputations of House Tyrell seriously damaged, Tommen does not know she was behind it all, and she got to pit her wits against the Queen of Thorns and come away relatively unscathed. It may work against her in the long run, but this week was a win for Cersei.
