It's no secret that Game of Thrones just signed off with possibly its strongest season to date. We've laughed, we've cried, we've seen horrible things and well.... more horrible things. We've been on an emotional rollercoaster and we've damn well enjoyed every minute of it. HBO hasn't just made George R. R. Martin's tomes into compulsive viewing, they've made them into
essential viewing. Simply, we've just got to watch it the scripts are excellent, the production values unparalleled and across the board, the actors have been great. Yet not all actors are created equal. While the show is renowned for the uniformly excellent performances of its cast, certain members of the ensemble poke their head up above the parapet and turn in bravura performances, turning in work head and shoulders above the rest. It's to those actors that this article is dedicated. So now the walls have been climbed, the Hodors have been warged and the Red Wedding crockery has been bundled away, lets look back on the powerhouse performances of this stellar season.
