Game Of Thrones Season 6: Ranking 8 Most Likely 'Major Deaths' In The Premiere

Somebody is on the way out, but who will it be?

George R.R. Martin: serial killer. The 67-year-old author of A Song Of Ice And Fire loves nothing more than to crush your hopes at the first sign that they have been raised. The moment you develop an attachment to a character, you've effectively signed their death warrant. Rumours are already beginning to spill over from Season 6, half a year before it's even released to the public, and Martin himself fuelled flames after a Q&A session earlier this year in Germany. He was translated at saying: "There€™s this character, which I always knew that she will die, from the moment of their introduction to them was doomed to die. But I did not know how she was going to die." Further speculation, including snippets from fan site Watchers On The Wall, suggests that this character will die very soon in the book series, and could even be killed off in the Season 6 Premiere in the show. It's too early to say whether it's true or not, but there are certainly a host of major female characters in serious peril as things stand. Regular characters who perhaps don't garner huge importance such as Missandei and Gilly appear to be safe (for now) after just beginning new chapters for their lives; the former as a key power in Meereen, and the latter en route to Oldtown with Sam. That still leaves the fate of eight significant female characters very much open. Here's the likelihood of each of them making it through the Season 6 Premiere.
