Sunday night saw True Detective's highly-anticipated third season commence, and HBO made the most of its return series by giving us all what we've really been craving. The final season of Game Of Thrones has finally unveiled its premiere date... April 14th, 2019.

Moments before the Mahershala Ali-led season of True Detective began, a short teaser trailer for the beloved fantasy drama dropped. The short clip features Jon Snow, Sansa Stark and Arya Stark walking the secluded hallways of the crypts of Winterfell, before the three siblings come together to stare at the statues of their fallen family members.

Their reminiscing is cut short, however, by the impending frost which heads straight for our three heroes - a frost that is quite clearly metaphorically representative of the upcoming war with the dead.

It's safe to say that Game Of Thrones' return will be the television event of the year, and HBO has certainly been capitalising on the anticipation as of late, with the cable network having already recently released a teaser trailer, before dropping a short clip of the upcoming season during the Golden Globe's ceremony - which featured new footage of Daenerys, Jon and Sansa.

This new teaser, however, is their best work to date, and, as we grow closer to April 14, a full-length trailer shouldn't be too far off.
