Game Of Thrones Season 4: 10 Things Fans Who Haven't Read The Books Want To See

Heavy spoilers ahead...

Game of Thrones has become one of the hottest shows on television, and the premiere of season four on April 6 is potentially the most highly-anticipated TV event of the year. Millions of fans of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice series of novels will see how the events of their beloved tales continue to be brought to life, and how the characters' decisions in the third novel, A Storm of Swords, play out on the screen. But this article isn't for them. No, this is for the rest of us. The ones who haven't read the books, but really, really love this phenomenal show that imbues each and every scene with meaning and feeling, and handles a huge cast of characters so expertly. Like Breaking Bad or True Detective, it's a TV experience that leaves viewers holding their breaths from episode to episode and wondering what'll happen next. With that in mind, I've compiled a list of ten things that we €“ the viewers who don't know what's going to happen next €“ absolutely need to see in season four. Those of you in my boat will agree, I'm sure, and those of you who have read the books €“ you sadists who smiled knowingly as we watched "The Rains of Castamere" in horror €“ can also read on, smugly organizing events in a mental "yes/no" grid. Also, I should mention, this article will contain heavy spoilers for the first three seasons of the show, so if you're not caught up, turn back now!
