Gilmore Girls To Be Revived As Netflix Mini-Series

From Stars Hollow to Hartford to New Haven to Netflix.

Netflix has officially reserved itself a trip right back to Stars Hollow, as Gilmore Girls is set to return as a four-part miniseries. The streaming service, alongside with producers at Warner Bros. Television, confirmed on Friday that the show was to be resurrected. The creator of the original series Amy Sherman-Palladino, and her husband Daniel Palladino are on board to write and direct all of the Netflix episodes. In a move that will certainly appease the show€™s legions of loyal fans, stars Lauren Graham (Lorelai) and Alexis Bledel (Rory) are set to reprise their roles as charismatic mother-daughter duo. The comedy-drama set in Stars Hollow, a fictional Connecticut town, spanned 7 seasons from 2000 to 2007. The American TV series centres around bed-and-breakfast owner Lorelai Gilmore, and her daughter, Rory who both dream of pursuing satisfaction in their love relationships and their careers. The revival will feature several new characters, as well as bringing back more of the shows veterans, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena. Although the title of the reboot has not yet been disclosed, the show is set to wrap up the series as Sherman-Palladino originally intended. Lauren Graham took to Twitter to confirm the news with a selfie: https://twitter.com/thelaurengraham/status/693193513287049216 Although there€™s still no word on everyone's favourite love triangle, Jess, Dean, and Logan, there€™s no denying that this news has fans of the show excited to see how the series will wrap up this time. Who€™s ready for a trip down memory lane?
