The world's attention may currently be focused on the movie side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and more specifically Avengers: Infinity War and its devastating ending (and what that may mean), but it's worth remembering there's a whole other corner of the MCU.
The Netflix Universe hasn't had a look in at the movies, but it's still provided some great characters and stories, including Luke Cage. After his first solo season debuted back in 2016, and then being a part of The Defenders last year, Harlem's Hero is back this summer.
The first season was really a story of two halves: the first seven episodes, which saw Cage facing off against Mahershala Ali's Cottonmouth, featured some brilliant, powerful storytelling, but a shocking twist led to a serious decline in terms of both villain and narrative.
The new, full trailer for the upcoming season has dropped, and brings with it our best look yet at what to expect. That includes an upgrade for Misty Knight, a different side to Luke Cage, and a brand new villain in town who is more than a match for Power Man, and there's quite a bit to be excited about.

A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
