Marvel's Jessica Jones Season 2: 23 WTF Moments

"With great power comes great mental illness."

After a two-and-a-half year wait, Jessica Jones is back in business and back on Netflix.

Season 2 hit the streaming service last Thursday, marking the long-awaited return of the hard-drinking private investigator with a superhero problem, although the show in its new form isn't without issues.

The pacing, as is all too often the case with these shows, is too slow in places, the plotting lacks both direction and an antagonist, and David Tennant's Kilgrave is a big miss.

On a more positive note, though, when the show works it's really great, and there are some excellent noir-ish elements, the whole thing is brilliantly directed, and Krysten Ritter once again gives one of the best portrayals of not only a superhero but also a woman experiencing trauma that we've seen on the small screen.

It has some incredible moments, and plenty that are weird, wonderful, and just plain ol' WTF. Spoilers ahead.

23. It's Patsy

After a re-introduction to Jessica, who is largely the same as we're used it, it's over to Trish, who... isn't.

Sporting a dark wig and ridiculous dress, we first meet Trish in the guise of Patsy, complete with a performance of her hit single: "It's Patsy, it's Patsy. I really wanna be your friend, hope this day will never end."

It's a means for her to get some files on IGH, but it's a startling - and pretty great - re-introduction to the character, even if the theme tune will be stuck in your head for the rest of the episode.
