Marvel's Daredevil Season 3: 10 Biggest Questions We're Left With

Is this the last we'll see of Daredevil?

Marvel fans know all too well that the quality of the MCU's Netflix shows has been a little up and down over the years, never really matching the high point of its opening salvo - Daredevil's incredible first season. Miraculously, Season 3 of that very show may have finally done it. By focussing on the battle between Matt Murdock and his eternal nemesis the Kingpin, it recaptured what made season 1 the Dark Knight of superhero TV.

After binge-watching all 13 episodes of Season 3, though, there are a bunch of questions that need to be answered. The finale tied a lot of lingering plot threads up in a neat bow so, if it had to be, it wouldn't be a bad way to end the series for good. However, there are some other elements left dangling that fans would love to see explored some more in the fourth season.

From the mystery of what happens next for our heroes to picking holes in this season's events, these are the burning questions from Daredevil Season 3 which are going to cause a lot of grief if it doesn't return.

10. Where Was Frank Castle?

Ok, yes, we're supposed to forget that the other heroes exist outside of the team-ups. In fact, Sister Maggie even brought up the topic of why Matt doesn't ask the Defenders for help in one Season 3 episode. The absence of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand makes logical sense, though, what doesn't is the fact that Frank Castle is a no-show.

Remember how attached to Karen Page Frank was in The Punisher season 1? Frank would have torn apart New York to save her. Yet when Karen is repeatedly under threat in Daredevil Season 3, he never shows. Seeing as Karen was all over the news, it's unlikely he wouldn't have been aware of the situation.

Likewise, Karen hits rock-bottom during this season and is turned away by everyone she knows. It's strange, then, that she doesn't go to Frank, someone she has a deep bond with and who would completely empathise with the crimes she is trying to run away from.

The Punisher Season 2 may explain this, of course. Maybe Frank was out of town while all this was happening?
