Marvel's Iron Fist: First Photos Of Danny Rand Make Him Look Homeless

There might not be a release date yet, or even much in the way of story detail, but Marvel's Iron Fist is now in production and the first set shots of Finn Jones as Danny Rand have hit the Net.

It's not a costume reveal at this early stage, but the raggy outfit fits with the image of Rand as a returning back-packer who happened to spend his gap year plotting vengeance for the deaths of his parents and learning the mystical force of the Iron Fist.

Presumably, the first look of him in full green and yellow costume will come later.

It's going to be interesting to see how Marvel blend the more supernatural elements of Rand's powers with the so-far realistic world they've built in the Netflix show. But given the fact that they managed to sell both the spiritual side of the Hand and make a Punisher project not suck, they're definitely the right people to be trusted with it.

Meanwhile, the show's cast has also swollen, with the addition of 90210's Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum. She joins Tom Pelphrey and David Wenham as Ward and Harold Meachum and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing. It's also very likely we'll see Carrie-Ann Moss again as Jeri Hogarth, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Simone Missick, who will be introduced in Luke Cage as Misty Knight.
