Get ready to be Gilmored, as Netflix have announced that their revival series will debut on November 25.

Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life is picking up the story of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore almost a decade after it ended on The CW, after a 7-season run that saw the comedy-drama become a firm favourite with viewers.

Full of fast-paced, witty dialogue, pop-culture references, and some top-notch performances from the likes of Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, fans were left disappointed with the ending after the series was abruptly cancelled.

Now the show has a chance to put that right, with A Year In The Life a four-part event series, which will consist of 90-minute episodes centred around each of the four seasons, and answer a number of big questions leftover, such as who Lorelai and Rory respectively end up with, and what those four last words creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has planned will be.

To go with the date announcement, Netflix also released a teaser that takes us back to Stars Hollow, including classic locations Luke's and the Dragonfly, and picks things up with the Gilmore Girls having a rather typical conversation: would Amy Schumer want to be friends with Lorelai, and would John Oliver find her attractive? Check out the teaser below:

Amy Schumer has already responded to the trailer, so now I guess we're just waiting on John Oliver to reveal whether or not he thinks Lorelai is hot. You've got 4 months, John.
