6. Ruby 
An odd choice to be on the list, I know. But lets be real here: Meghan Ory is a talented actress and makes a lot out of what could be a one-note character. Ruby is spunky, unique, a breath of fresh air, and has sexual chemistry with anything that moves. Plus, Ory can take horrible dialogue about lemurs and deliver it in a manner thats actually believable. So what has Ruby been doing for the latter half of Season 2? Aside from one scene with Dr. Whale that made me want to push the two together to kiss, not very much. Rubys role can be summed up in two parts: babysitter or bloodhound. So many times, her role boils down to go to the diner and protect Henry or use your wolf nose to track down Whale/Regina/August/whoever else we need to find in this episode. Ruby is such a good character and Meghan Ory has too much talent to be relegated to find the thing.
