Star Trek: 20 Worst Episodes Ever

7. Precious Cargo (ENT)

CBS

Not unlike And The Children Shall Lead, Enterprise's Precious Cargo takes a poorly executed premise (and a warmed over one at that) and adds a terrible guest actor to the mix.

Much of the episode is a two-hander with Trip Tucker (Connor Trinneer) and Kaitaama (Padma Lakshmi), which falls completely flat thanks to Lakshmi's performance. It's obvious that she wasn't hired for her line readings (which are flat) or her chemistry with Trinneer (which is nonexistent). This is especially a shame in light of Trinneer's talents as an actor. His two-hander with Dominic Keating called Shuttlepod One was one of the better episode of the first season, but Precious Cargo just goes to show that one bad actor can bring a whole episode down.
