The Flash Season 2: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Gorilla Warfare'

The Flash gets up to some monkey business.

Last week's episode of The Flash gave us our first good look at the big bad for Season 2, Zoom, who showcased his frightening powers and utterly destroyed Barry as a result, leaving our hero paralysed. It was one of the best episodes of the series to date, so how do you possibly try to top it? Bring back the giant, talking, psychic gorilla, obviously. Last seen in Season 1 getting even stronger than he had been before, there's been little talk of Grodd so far this year, save for a mention of him back in the opening episode. I wondered then when he'd be making appearance, and we haven't had to wait long. It's a clever move to introduce the gorilla here, purposefully slowing things down on the Zoom front ahead of the crossover episodes, and if we can't have more Zoom then Grodd is the next best thing (well, actually, Grodd and King Shark together would've been the next best thing, but maybe that's asking for too much). Although not as explosive an episode as Grodd Lives, mostly due to Barry being confined to a wheelchair for a large part of it, it's still great to see the creature on our screens, and we got plenty of ape action, hints of the future, the return of Henry Allen, and of course were left with lots of questions.
