The Flash Season 2: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

It's already been littered with some game-changing moments for the Scarlet Speedster and Co.

The second half of The Flash€™s Season 2 is set to race to a conclusion over the next few months, and as such there€™s no better time to look back at the first half of the season and its most shocking and surprising moments. It€™s fair to say there have been some major, major happenings for the Scarlet Speedster in the first half of Season 2, and fans have also been introduced to the appearance of many a new rogue and even the odd new hero. And then there was the Arrow/Flash crossover that saw some €˜Legends€™ brought into the fold. With the notion of the Multiverse now in play, that opens up endless possibilities. Thanks to that concept, we€™ve seen the arrival of a new €˜big bad€™ in the form of the eerie, destructive Zoom, another Flash on the scene, plus rogues such as Atom-Smasher, Sand Demon and Doctor Light joining Earth-2 newbies such as Tokamak and Lewis Snart. It goes without saying, but when it comes to The Flash, all bets are now well and truly off in regards to how things play out for Barry Allen and Co.

20. Captain Cold€™s Mug

Nothing quite says bad guy like a festive reindeer mug filled with hot cocoa. The usually ice-cold Leonard Snart showed a more tender side when he snuck into the Wests€™ abode during Running to Stand Still. Barry and Iris would turn up to see the charismatic rogue casually supping out of this awesome mug whilst next to a roaring fireplace and longing for marshmallows. Whilst not as hard-hitting a shocker or surprise as most on here, this was shocking in just how out of the blue it was and how frankly awesome a moment it was.
