The Flash had a super strong debut season, racing out of the gate as quick as its titular hero to announce itself as the best new superhero show on the block; fun, fast, smart, cocky, and capable of kicking a lot of ass, it was a perfect way to represent the character on-screen. Among the many notable aspects of the show was the amount of villains it had, and at the start it burnt through these as quickly as Barry Allen does trainers. It differed itself from Arrow and other comic-books shows by not grounding itself too much in reality, and thus Barry wasn't the only one with powers; most of the bad-guys he encountered were 'metahumans'. There was the overarching antagonist, Reverse-Flash, and also some classic Flash villains straight out of his rogues gallery, such as Captain Cold. Then there were the minor ones dealt with relatively swiftly, the likes of Peek-A-Boo and the Mist. Season 2 shows no signs of slowing down, in fact it is expanding the mythos of the show much further, with the introduction of fellow speedsters Jay Garrick (the original Flash) and Wally West both confirmed, along with the alternate dimension of Earth 2. With new heroes and timelines comes new stories to tell, and of course new villains to fight. Some have been confirmed and even cast, while others have been strongly hinted at and mentioned, and these are the rogues Team Flash will be up against in its sophomore year.
