Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington will be back for Season 3 of The Ricky Gervais Show, a talking head animation show based around Merchant and Gervais popular podcast series. The new season will have a standard run of 13 episodes beginning April 20th on HBO.
HBO issued a press release announcing the date, highlighting Gervais’ current achievements, most notably entrance into the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most downloaded podcast last March (that’s over 300 million for those counting).
The new season of The Ricky Gervais Show will be more of the same general hilarity, including “Karl ruminating on museum collections, his invention of the mug coaster, a movie pitch, and Karl, Stephen and Ricky shedding new light on charitable causes.” Sounds pretty fun. So the suspense is over, now all we have to do is wait.

Ricky Gervais the liberal humanist who exploits the mentally disabled and vulnerable for commercial and comedy purposes. He thanks “God” that he is an atheist. So do we…… Gervais is a yellow pussy who only hits on safe and soft targets. He now cries crocodile tears over a deceased bear. Does he think we are stupid? His publicist could have come up with something more creative and original. It is an old recycled soundbite frequently used for damage limitation control. What a rancid soul.
If you actually looked or rather listened to what ricky gervais has said and done over the last ~10 years I think you’ll find you are most definatly wrong.
As for him being an athiest… religion has done more harm to this world than any other form of philosophy or comedy; atleast when a comedian tells a joke you take the facts with a pinch of salt.. When someone reads or learns scriptures from a ‘holy book’, they belive them to be the absolute truth no matter how rediculous; far fetched and bizarre they may be.
What an ignorant statement, are you Ricky’s publicist or agent? Read my post again, you have obviously not understood it. “God bless you” Joe S
