The Simpsons/Futurama Crossover: 10 Things We Want To See

Bite my shiny metal shorts!

The Simpsons Guy has come and gone, but that doesn't mean that the crossovers are done for The Simpsons this year! That's right, coming up is a crossover with Matt Groening's "other" show, the little sci-fi animated comedy that could, Futurama. Aired, cancelled, brought back in televised movie form, resurrected, then cancelled again - and now brought back by way of The Simpsons - it's hard to keep the Planet Express team down. Futurama has popped up a couple of times for throw-away jokes in The Simpsons, but this season sees a full blown cross-over between the two. The cast of characters are incredibly different, prompting some exciting potential moments. Really, the only thing close to the Futurama cast on The Simpsons would be Kang and Kodos, and they're usually relegated to appearances on Halloween specials. How will The Simpsons handle the influx of new characters? Will "Simpsorama" turn out better than "The Simpsons Guy" thanks to the benefit of both shows sharing the same creator and some of the same production staff? Will Bender become Bart's new best pal? Will Leela prove to be a bigger know-it-all than Lisa? We know this episode has a Terminator style plot line, with Bart in the role of John Connor, Bender looking to take him out to prevent future catastrophe, but beyond that, we don't know much. A couple of images from the episode have leaked, but we're trying to stay spoiler free. That means we're really just wishing for the plots and pairings we want to see most, taking a couple of educated guesses, and getting our hopes up. Lets see if the show can meet them. So with that in mind lets take a look at ten things we want to see from The Simpsons/Futurama crossover next month!
