After 11 years and well over 200 episodes spent in the company of Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, Raj, Howard, Bernadette, and Amy, it's been announced that The Big Bang Theory is going to end with its upcoming twelfth season.
The Chuck Lorre show has become one of the biggest sitcoms of all time for CBS, pulling in tens of millions of viewers while its main cast raked in an estimated $1m per episode, and inspiring t-shirts emblazoned with 'Bazinga', renditions of 'Soft Kitty', and multiple games of 'Rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock'.
