The Walking Dead: 10 Big Differences Between The Comics & TV Show

10. Rick May Actually Have Killed More In The Comics

Rick Grimes is racking up a series body count on The Walking Dead TV series. The fifth season closed out with the leader of the group being treated with suspicion by their new hosts at the Alexandria Safe Zone...mainly because troubled priest Father Gabriel told them that Rick had done some €œterrible things€ to survive. Which, admittedly, he has. Whilst Rick and the crew are adept at chopping up walkers without remorse at this point, there's been a few occasions when Office Grimes put a bullet in the head of an un-undead individual. In fact, that's how the season finale ended €“ but he might have an even higher body count in the comics. Amongst others, Rick was responsible for the death of Martinez, who is killed by The Governor in the TV show. In the comics, Rick strangled him for reporting back their whereabouts at The Prison to The Governor. He also shot zombified Shane, Otis and Allen...oh, and during a bandit attack, he bit a guys ear off ad then stabbed him. Hardcore stuff.
