The Walking Dead: 10 Reasons Why Season 6 Will Be The Best Yet

The Walking Dead Season 6 is less than one month away, and while its spinoff show Fear The Walking Dead canters along, you can expect the main event to provide enormous scenes from the word: 'GO!' It'll be a welcome relief to see Rick and the gang back on our screens, though with Alexandria in turmoil, it's very unclear as to how the next series will pan out. However, there's a definite possibility that this could be the best season of the show yet, with an array of different reasons why it could tower above the impressive five seasons already released. We left the story after Rick's execution of Pete for drunkenly killing Reg, and while that does all sound messy, the group were remarkably more unified during the season finale. That's when Morgan eventually wanders back into the fold; a changed man of peace, reunited with his old friend who's just wrestled and shot a man through the head, with blood splattered all across him. There's been a great deal of teasing Morgan, and his presence is a major part of the promotional material, but I genuinely think his re-introduction is a red herring. The trailers would have you believe that Rick's methods and attitude to survival is under question once again, with Morgan lined up on the opposing team, but then wouldn't that be the same as Season 5's theme? Fans should expect (and deserve) more than just the same re-telling of Rick being outlawed from the group, so here are the biggest reasons why Season 6 could be the pinnacle of The Walking Dead so far.
