The Walking Dead: 12 Things We Want To See In Season 6

Season 6 won't hit the small screens until autumn, but there's plenty we want to see when it does.

After the mid-season finale of Season 4, where the prison is effectively destroyed, was incredibly boring, and the shocks and exciting scenes were few and far between. And the less said about the episode with Daryl and Beth in that hut, the better.

But Season 5 was MUCH better. The cannibals, Bob's death, Abraham delivering a swift K.O. to Eugene, and, of course, Alexandria.

There were shocks, thrilling near-death experiences, actual-death experiences, and plenty of zombie killing fun to keep everyone entertained. Daryl stuck in a car facing certain death sure beats Daryl sat drinking moonshine in a hut, listening to Beth whinge about whatever was bothering her that week.

There was plenty to enjoy in the season finale "Conquer", and, though it didn't really end on a cliffhanger the way previous seasons have, it certainly left a lot of things in the balance and it'll be interesting to see the leadership dynamics change now that Alexandria has been compromised, and Deanna has had to endure the loss of two family members in a week, which has already begun to change her from the Winston Churchill-type leader to the Mussolini-type.

They've been a bit hit and miss in the past, so we have to make it abundantly clear what we, the viewers, want. So, with The Walking Dead back on the up and up, it's time to make our demands to AMC about what we want to see next season:

12. An Explanation!

When Glenn was fighting Nicholas in that forest, he was pinned down in some kind of zombie pile-on, and you genuinely though: "This is it, this is the end for Glenn, may he rest in pieces."

But somehow, miraculously, he escaped the pile up, without even firing his gun, and went on to hunt down Nicholas and nearly decide to kill him, only to show him mercy at the last second.

Most of us watching the show have seen enough episodes by now to know that characters, however important, however vital to the plot, or however popular, do not just survive those kind of odds.

Rick nearly bit the dust in a very similar circumstance in the very same episode, but managed to fight off the walker he was pinned under. But we got to see that. So we know exactly how he wrestled with it and then brought it's 'life' to a messy and gruesome end.

But we have no such proof with Glenn. He should definitely be dead. We need some kind of explanation, be it a fireside heart-to-heart with Maggie, a shouting match with Deanna, or a series of flashbacks. AMC writers and producers, if you are reading this, your viewers demand an explanation.
