When you return home from work, you should be able to unwind, relax, sink back into the world's most comfortable settee/couch/sofa, put your favourite show on the TV and watch the hours glide by. That sounds wonderful, doesn't it? Well, unfortunately, if you're a fan of The Walking Dead, you'll never realise that dream. There are some episodes that leave you more worked-up after the credits have rolled. It's a tough gig watching characters you've invested hours into being ripped apart by hordes of the flesh-eating undead, but that's the life of a Walking Dead fan. "Ah this is cool" quickly turns into: "Hmm it could be worse" before finally descending into: "Why? Why? WHY? Despair, despair, despair" and repeat. Zombies are probably the most cliched horror foes in TV and Film history, meaning that The Walking Dead must constantly aim to provide hugely shocking moments in order to stand above the crowd.
