The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 13 Got Right

Carol, Carol, a thousand times Carol.

The Walking Dead is an enigma. It's always on the cusp of true greatness, but it never quite cements its place among the elite. It's still a fantastic show, but after a sublime run of form, Episode 13 failed to offer a huge advance in the story. It certainly wasn't a bad episode, it just wasn't up to the high standard the show has set lately. 'The Same Boat' felt like an extended pause between a joke and its punchline. A whole 45 minutes of the series has passed since the explosive Episode 12 set up a frantic end to the season, yet we're still hanging on with baited breath, waiting for the stunning conclusion. However, if the 'pause' lasts too long, the initial momentum will fizzle out and The Walking Dead will have missed a huge chance to step up a level. It wasn't an ideal episode for the expectant audience, but enough about the negatives, it did include some mighty moments and in the grand scheme of things, some aspects were handled with aplomb. Here are 10 things that Episode 13 absolutely nailed.
