Underwoods Do Battle In First House Of Cards Season 4 Full Trailer

"We had a future until you started destroying it."

Trump vs Cruz. Hilary vs Bernie. Both battles waging on the political landscape in 2016, but now we've got a new pair of candidates ready to enter the fray: Underwood vs Underwood. After a couple of teasers, including that slightly sinister Dig tease, we've now got the first full-length trailer for the fourth season of the show, and it really sets up this coming year as being the battle between husband and wife, Frank and Claire. There's a typically grandstanding speech from Kevin Spacey's President, saying: "You have no idea what it means to have nothing. You don't value what we have achieved. I have had to fight for everything my entire life," to which Claire can be heard retorting: "I saw our future. Our future." "We had a future until you started destroying it," Frank responds. Yep, just incase there was any doubt after Season 3's finale, this is really going to be all about the pair going against each other. After a slightly underwhelming third season, this sounds like a great way to get the show back on track. Also seen in the trailer are new players Joel Kinnaman, Neve Campbell and Ellen Burstyn, all of whom will presumably be making life difficult for the man in the White House, while there's also plenty sex, violence, and angry glances in this one, which does an excellent job of building intrigue for Season 4. House of Cards was recently renewed for a fifth season, but it'll be without longtime showrunner Beau Williams. He's sure to want to end his four-year reign on a high.
