5 Fighters CM Punk Will Be Training With At Roufusport

A look at who Punk will be working with in the gym

Homer Simpson once famously mused about just what the hell a gym was, while pronouncing it wrong. CM Punk has the answer for him. After a brief search, and after putting the cart well before the horse (he signed with the UFC without really having thought things through), CM Punk has settled on his gym: Roufusport, based out of Wisconsin. It's home to a couple of champions, has been through scandal after the death of a fighter at a gym-sponsored kickboxing event, has high level wrestlers and strikers, and is, frankly, the best option for Punk in the vicinity, given he did not want to lose a lot of training time commuting. That's fair, as more time in the car would mean less time on the mat, and right now Punk needs to get all the training he can under his belt. He has, after all, zero real fight experience, and a limited time in which to make his debut - and live out his dream. He considers the head of the gym a friend, yet on of the key payers there has been one of his most outspoken critics. In short, it's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out, but first lets take a look at five fighters CM Punk will be training with at his new home of Rousfusport!
