10 Baffling WWE Creative Ideas Fans Still Can't Work Out

What were the writing team smoking to come up with this stuff?

Those involved in WWE (and pro wrestling in general) often point to the fact that the industry doesn't take holidays as an example of just how brutal the business of wrestling is. Wearing it like some badge of honour, those within the grappling game remark that there is no off-season, and thus wrestling is tougher than any other form of entertainment. In many ways, that's true, but it's not only on the people actually performing that the lack of a break starts to take a toll. WWE's writing staff are required to come up with fresh ideas constantly, and make sure they're consistently up to scratch with what the audience would want to see - such pressure can't make working for creative the most enjoyable job at times. Sure, writers are doing something they often love, but that constant stress must be tiring. Perhaps it's only natural then that these people, who have to juggle lives outside of wrestling with the countless hours of writing, will pen angles which - being candid - flat out suck. This list aims to look at 10 different times when wrestling fans were left scratching their heads, unable to grasp exactly what the creative team were trying to achieve.
