10 Best Becky Lynch Tweets

Supa Hot FIRE.

WWE.com

We complain, endlessly, about scripted promos.

The content is as lame as the entire practise is counterproductive. Say WWE hired a man with pure fire in his fingertips. Say WWE hired Glengarry Glen Ross screenwriter David Mamet to script promos on behalf of Bayley:

"You stupid f*ckin' c*nt. You, Nia Jax, I'm talkin' to you, sh*thead. You just cost everybody the main event of Survivor Series. What are you going to do about it? What are you going to do about it, a**hole. You're f*ckin' sh*t. Where did you learn your trade, you stupid f*cking c*nt, you idiot?"

As entertaining as this notion is, Bayley, being Bayley, has more intimate knowledge of her wrestling character than even the best dialogue man in film, much less the failed sitcom hacks WWE employs. The answer, and this was standard procedure when so many more wrestlers were over, is to let wrestlers devise their own promos, you stupid f*cking c*nts, you idiots.

Twitter is the new litmus test. Becky Lynch fleshed out her incredible, all-swagger persona on the social media platform. WWE has reacted to her popularity by allowing her to further develop it on television. Becky Lynch is so fire on Twitter that she has incinerated scripted promos.

This is why...

10. Catching Seth Rollins In The Backdraft

When you're The Man, everybody wants to beat The Man.

Even fate, so delighted by Becky Lynch, has booked one of the three programmes in which she is currently embroiled. But, before we get to Nia Jax, Lynch in this tweet went 2-0 in her record of inter-gender squash matches: first James Ellsworth, and now Seth Rollins.

Becky is a savage, and that's why people adore her: in a world that positively reeks of bullsh*t, The Man slices through it with a cutting wit - and Seth Rollins' Royal Rumble Guy Fieri flame shirt tights were total bullsh*t. An all-too-literal interpretation of his whole "Burn It Down!" spiel, Rollins married a lack of imagination to a cringe meme - and Becky pounced, burying Seth all the way to Flavour Town.
